Hii I do have another question.
This is a very popular video clip (part of it) that got viral on different social media platforms and many people (including me) wonder how it‘s done and what she is doing?
I’ve read it‘s a Hagallah, a 3/4 Shimmy, a pyramid, a jewel and many other layered movements.
Can you tell us what she‘s doing and if you have tutorials for it (especially the exact layered movement)? Or can this be added to requests cause it‘s a really pretty movement? What should I search for?
Is it considered intermediate or advanced?
I cut her face out so the lower body would be more visible but the girl is Meri Babaian if anybody is wondering
They don't lie! Time for some hip classes https://raqsonline.com/programs/collection-100-days-of-dance
Hi I found this video clip of a belly dancer. I was wondering, is this a fast omi / inner hip circle or is this considered to be a (fast) Faarapu?
I can already do an omi and I‘m working on the Faarapu. Not sure which technique I should use to get to this point
I was just watching one of my DVD's that Sadie did years ago (Drum Solo Secrets), where in it she taught different tempo layers. One of the tempo's was hip work on fast foot work, but the hips moved at half the speed of the feet. She traveled with it and I love that drill. It would be fun if she made that arrhythmic hip-up drill as a video! Or also the hip up-twist drill on that same video is fantastic for cardio. It might be fun if she put these two old drills together into a full length lesson.
I can hope right?
:)😀
Let's go!! This week is about circles
