Hello Dana,Im not at all familiar with copyright law in the Netherlands.Β Here is the US you have to show proof of intellectual property and make a lawsuit against the person or people you think are infringing on your copyright. The first step is having a way to prove your intellectual property belongs to you and when it was created. For example, I could easily prove that with any performance videos or uploads of teaching material. The next steps are consulting a lawyer and sending a cease and desist to prove you have asked the person or entity in violation to stop. If you choose to sue, then it is up to the court or jury to decide the outcome. It is not exactly an easy process. It can be very expensive, time consuming. But if you are certain that you are negatively impacted (for example financially or reputation wise) it may be worth perusing. Documentation is key and also making public statements that your choreography may not be used or duplicated without written consent. Good luck!
