Hi Kimberly, Absolutely ok to have your feet further apart. Hips width distance is also a good starting marker. But always adapt to what your body need and feel good with. Thanks for the great question!!!

Did you watch the videos in the shimmy challenge? I made an exercise where you practice shimmying with feet forward, pointed in and out. That might help.
