Sadie,

A little while back I caught a post somewhere in which you were talking about there needing to be a conversation about aging and dancing, and particularly career dancers and aging in our community. Would love to hear the rest. Do you have a link?

PS. Love the live Zoom classes!!!🩷

Looking forward to it!

Such a great time! Really enjoy these classes. And you didn't even have to see me fail miserably at accurately reproducing combos! 🀣🀣🀣

Link?

Golden Era is certainly foundational to our history, but it's not where my creativity normally lands. Love fusion!

Sadie:

I have "Belly Dancer Body," but can't play it in my practice space. Raqs has do many videos-could you recommend a set that would cover the same general things as that DVD? It's a beast, lol!

As a retired lit prof, much of my life centers around words. Bellydance gave me a way to express the Deep, non-verbal parts of my soul. Maybe that's why I sometimes stretch it to allow other emotions: anger, sadness, the sublime.... I want the whole palette of colors in my dance
