SadieMarquardt I just watched that tutorial for one sided hip circle and it includes a pelvic roll in raqs sharqi. In the beginning when you showed the mechanics, you didnβ€˜t show the pelvic roll though. Is it just circling? The Rebolado does not include a roll? I only had two Samba lessons in real life and I remember the instructor saying I should not accidentally do body rolls. Or is pelvic roll different? And did I see it right that for the Rebolado the hip doesnβ€˜t just go forward backward with the weight transfers but the hip showing forward is also going slightly up and down for the circle?

Is the hip movement the same as a belly dance Omi / interior hip circle or is the movement bigger than that?

Hii I do have another question.

This is a very popular video clip (part of it) that got viral on different social media platforms and many people (including me) wonder how itβ€˜s done and what she is doing?

I’ve read itβ€˜s a Hagallah, a 3/4 Shimmy, a pyramid, a jewel and many other layered movements.

Can you tell us what sheβ€˜s doing and if you have tutorials for it (especially the exact layered movement)? Or can this be added to requests cause itβ€˜s a really pretty movement? What should I search for?

Is it considered intermediate or advanced?

I cut her face out so the lower body would be more visible but the girl is Meri Babaian if anybody is wondering

Hi I found this video clip of a belly dancer. I was wondering, is this a fast omi / inner hip circle or is this considered to be a (fast) Faarapu?

I can already do an omi and Iβ€˜m working on the Faarapu. Not sure which technique I should use to get to this point
