Tip Series: Stage Mishaps

STAGE MISHAPS: Expect the UnexpectedCostume malfunctions, forgotten choreography, music glitches, slippery stages, flying props! Live performance has a way of keeping us on our toes LITERALLY!In this class, Sadie shares practical strategies for handling the unpredictable moments that can happen on stage with calm, confidence, and professionalism. We’ll explore how to recover without panic, stay connected to the music, keep the audience with you, and turn a potential disaster into just another part of the performance. And who knows? A few of these lessons may feel surprisingly useful offstage too. Sometimes the art is not avoiding the mishap, it’s learning how to keep dancing when it happens.00:00 Intro01:56 Costume malfunctions and how to be prepared and what to do when you can't fix it.08:06 Veil mishaps13:02 Props, cane and sword17:28 Falling down during performances, diffuse the fall24:20 NO music?!?!26:39 Low risk performances to work out the kinks and get experience
