Hi Jasmin, Great and thoughtful question. In my opinion yes. I have seen this done even by Egyptian dancers. Dancers will often perform a folkloric piece in the middle of a cabaret set and since they don't have time for a costume change they will do it in the cabaret costume. I hope that helps. It is more a matter of opinion. Some may not agree but as I mentioned I have seen this often. Even with source dancers.

Yes, this one takes some practice! Put in the tilt to the diagonal of the direction of your circle. That might help. Also every 8 counts change from shimmy to circle to keep the tempo
