The Ghawazi move you are referring to is a 3/4 variation on the up done on top of a larger, exaggerated hip slide out to the side. Khariya Maazin is one of the last dancers of her lineage where you can see her dancing this step. You may also enjoy watching Nabawiyya Mostafa. She does this step with a really interesting kick out with her feet and leg.
