Hi Devorah, When ever we speed up technique it is not uncommon to default to a technical application that is more accessible at that speed. Usually the down choo-choo is much harder for most people but for you it might feel easier or at least more ingrained into your muscle memory. I don't see anything wrong with that but if you would like to also like to be efficient and strong at the up choo choo then I would suggest you just keep practicing. Tempo drills when you increase and decrease tempo every 8-16 counts is a great way to build the dexterity. Good luck!
