Hi Madelyn, Thank you for your comment. You are 100% right to double check with your therapist as everyone has a unique circumstance. There is definitely individual situations where knees over toes may be advised against. And I assume most people, myself included at one point, repeated the misconception in the spirt of better safe than sorry.
